Currently, I cannot ever seem to get onto the webpage for GratitudeLog.com. Whenever I go to the site, it has some type of gateway error message. SO I've decided it's time to take my gratitude into my own hands! I've decided to kill two birds with one stone, and am going to add gratitude as many days of the week as possible to my blog!
SO here we go!
Day #1
So grateful today for the warm of Wisconsin. I am so grateful for my conversation with Ashley last night. I had a wonderful time with her! I am grateful to be more or less entirely moved into my new apartment! I am grateful for my very loving parents for helping me get my feet on the ground while still in school, whether it's giving me their old pots or vaccuum, or buying me an electric razor, I constanly feel my parents love in so many dynamic ways that go far beyond what they purchase for me. I know my rock will always be my family, and I am so grateful for that! I am grateful for the influx of new ideas I am having as I start to meditate again! I am SOOOO GRATEFUL FOR YOGA! Oh my gosh! It has changed my life! I am grateful for just giving gratitude! This is wonderful. I am grateful for making my thoughts come out, and really taking inventory of them! I am grateful for professor Wright, and for Justin, in helping me understand the complicated world of Chemistry. WOWZA! crazy, but really interesting stuff! :) SO ready to go out and rock! Let's do this thang! Today will be the Greatest day of my life! :)

Simply.
I wrote this as my gratitude for the day. It's funny, I'm looking for more use of my mind, body, and soul to work MORE, and strive not to find the easy way out, but I am also using the same text for two purposes :)
"I am grateful for realizing that I want to live simply as I age. Ironically watching a tv show on the information overload on the american people, I notice, that as I also document it on the internet, that I want to, as the show described, spend only 2 hours a day, tops, with technology! I am so grateful for people! and animals! and the mind! and my body! and Big Ideas! I want to fight to keep my life in reality! With Simple, real, food. With Love, Creativity, and MINDFULNESS! With Books, and Happiness! I am so grateful for this day! I am grateful to be able to spend it with family enjoying real, live theatre, with my dad, and his friends! It rocked! I am so grateful to be able to go, but also to enjoy the wonderful performers that laid their souls out there for us to see! I am grateful for the books that I am reading, all 4 or 5 some! I am grateful for my meditation practice, and for meditating over 30 minutes this morning! So grateful for iTunesU! haha it was intrumental in helping me find the quiet. I hope in the future, I may be able to find the perfect balance, as I continue to know that I will always know what's right for Matt, as I continue to stay plugged into source, and Love of Allie, and Family, and Friendships, and BODY, MIND, and SOUL Health! I am so ready to rock this day that is ahead of me once I wake up in the next 8ish hours Let's do it GLog!"
Only time will tell, along with the thoughts which make our reality. Here's to hoping for one that's filled with love, deep emotion, and fire-ry passion for life!

Baby Steps.
Take baby steps. Probably the greatest lesson I have learned in the past couple months. We may have lofty goals, but the only way to get to the almighty top tiered goal, is to break it down, even if everyday you just say, "hey, what else can I do TODAY, that will get me closer to that goal"...and DO IT! I hate having to sit down and write out exactly what needs to get done in what order. It doesn't work that way in most of our minds. We need to think, day, by day, what needs to get done in order to get us closer to that goal, because the path towards the goal may change from Monday to Friday.
It doesn't matter when you create. Early in the morning, mid-day, or late at night, doesn't matter. I find that I am toast after 5pm when it comes to creating anything good! :) Funny thing is I am creating this at 11:11pm. I must be expanding this comfort zone! haha Find your sweet spot, and stick to it, Religiously! It is so important! Let's rock it now, taking those baby steps towards our huge endeavors!

Soul-One: The Movie
One: The Movie tells a story not based in bias, pinning one religion against each other, but rather saying that we all are the the same thing, the divine. We spend our entire lives in some cases looking for some "Other" thing out their when we all that which we are looking for. One: The Movie is a beautiful representation of Love on the deepest level for humankind, on a vulnerable level, that cuts right to the point. I think the responses from these spiritual leaders is beautiful, seeing that we all need to find love and a reason to live together finding happiness.

Mind, Soul-Journaling
Journaling is one of the most important things we can do to take all of our creative out-of-this-world ideas, and make them into reality, so needless to say, it should be in some capacity part of every artist's life. I actually learned this from my acting teacher this past year, and have tried to make it part of my life, even if it is just jotting down ideas that I have so I don't lose them. I used to think that it had to be something where I had to sit down, and write about a concept, like an academic exercise. The journal should be something for the artist, and only make sense to the artist. I found some bad ass journaling questions, and thought I would answer them, and I'd love to see your opinions and ideas on the questions as well! Please!
